George Calvar possesses 15 years of retail, customer service, and operational experience while working at two of the most successful organizations with Starbucks Coffee Company and Apple Inc.
While at Starbucks he focused on customer rapport for repeat patronage and as a manager hired great talent to represent the brand. At Apple he focused his customer service skills as a Concierge team member, mentor and sales specialists. He then used his previous recruiting experience at Starbucks as his stepping stone into Human Resources by assisting with the talent selection, training of new employees for the New York City Market.
Outside of work, George focuses on philanthropy by assisting with multiple Filipino American community groups in the New York Tristate area. Currently building a website called lahatna.com that will be a promotional blog for food, travel, culture and inspiration.
