Nicole Samela is a seasoned hospitality and event coordinator and also the wife of Chris Gonzalez and has worked in the hospitality business for approximately 8 years. Nicole’s journey in the hospitality business began in college when she worked as an office manager at Westchester Manor, a popular catering hall in Westchester, NY, and eventually worked her way up to catering manager. She was responsible for a team of ten employees, maintaining vendor relations and booking events for over thirty clients.


After college she was offered a job with CB5 Hospitality Consulting where she met worked under Adrian Gonzalez as the assistant general manager of Chinawhite in Purchase, NY. All front of the house daily management responsibilities were split between Nicole and Adrian. Nicole was fully responsible for booking and executing all catering events which accounted to 5% of the annual revenue of the restaurant. Together as a team they were able to develop a loyal customer base and productive, positive work environment. Along side Adrian, Nicole spent time consulting for the company’s other restaurants, Lolita in Greenwich, CT and Tropica in the Westin Resort and Spa in Maui, HI.


Nicole Holds an Associate’s degree in Social Science from Westchester Community college in Valhalla, NY. She also attended a Food truck 101 course at the institute of culinary education with David Weber, whom is the founder and president of the NYC food truck association and author of “the food truck handbook”.  She is ServSafe certified by the National Restaurant Association.
